![]() !NEW IN CATALOGUE! Passion Play - The Final Act (Aufnahme + Wiedergabe) A new and the last album by one of my favorite guitar bands Passion Play. Not a real new album but a compilation with songs from 1998 to 2005, of which 5 were recorded for the first time especially for this release. Very nice melancholy new wave tunes... like Placebo without the glamrock touch and less indie but also never too goth in anyway... recommended! listen + listen cd, 13 tracks, limited to 999 hand numbered copies Price: 14 euro (only 2 copies left) |
![]() White Hex - Heat (Avant! Records) Excellent release by White Hex... neo gothic (rock) as it should sound. It is gothic in every way but without the clichés... think Nick Cave instead of Christian Death... together with bands like Black Ice and Blessure Grave among the best gothic (rock) has to offer today... highly recommended!! listen + listen mini LP, 6 tracks, insert Price: 16 euro |
![]() Collateral - Dark EP (Desire Records) Superb release by Collateral... if anything could be classified as minimal wave then this is it. Minimalistic new wave songs with hints of shoegaze and spiced up with electronics... a bit like Chromatics maybe... highly recommended! listen + listen 12", 3 tracks, limited to 300 copies Price: 14 euro |
![]() Hot Guts - Edges (Blind Prophet Records) Strange band... at times they sound more electronic (minimal electronics)... at other times more guitar orientated (Sonic Youth / indie / post-punk)... but still they produce this very coherent album... For adventurous listeners... maybe... but on the other hand just for people with an open mind... listen + listen lp, 8 tracks, gatefold sleeve Price: 16 euro |
![]() Earth Control - Grip Op Het Leven (self released) Completely weird synth and guitar duo from Holland. Contemporary punk songs with electronic rhythms and guitar noises... very lo-fi... and... well just crazy. Would have been perfect on our Hex nights... lp, 10 tracks, silk screen printed sleeves Price: 12 euro |
![]() Secret Society Of The Sonic Six - Pickup (4:2:2v2) Great new release by Secret Society Of The Sonic Six... a strange band maybe... but great... not fitting in anywhere for real... but that is what makes it all only nicer... rough synth driven music... maybe rock like without sounding too much rock... original and authentic... If you like stuff like Sixteens for example you should check this out for sure! Highly recommended!! 12", 4 tracks, insert Price: 14 euro (only 1 copy left) |
![]() Demontré - Reigning 7" (Desire Records) Very nice 3 track 7" by this shoegaze band. Some good songwriting here with tunes drenched in melancholy. listen/see here a full track 7", 3 tracks, green sleeve edition, limited to 150 copies Price: 8 euro (only 1 copy left) |
![]() Bronze - Copper (Rvng Intl.) Here is a band that can do nothing wrong to me... every song they produce is solid gold... after a 10" and two 7 inch (one on Hex Grammofoonplaten / Enfant Terrible) here is the debut album with trance indulging songs with elements from psychedelic music, minimal synth and post-punk... resulting in what you could call urban tribal music... Truly an outstanding band with a sound of their own... lp, 8 tracks Price: 16 euro (only 2 copies left) |
![]() Cult Of Youth - The Devil's Coals / Sidestreets (Blind Prophet Records) Latest, and highly acclaimed, release by Cult Of Youth. Excellent neo-wave/neo-folk tunes. References Death In June, Strenght Through Joy and Sonne Hagal. On the B-side a superb cover version of the Martial Canterel tune 'Sidestreets'. listen + listen 7", 2 tracks, limited hand numbered edition of 500 copies Price: 8,50 euro |
![]() Sixteens / Lineas Albies - Untitled split 10" (Pomez Records) This record was released some years ago and I just forgot to get it... and I missed out on two of the best tracks Sixteens ever did! 'For Rent' is a synth punk dancefloor filler for sure while 'Snake Charmer' is a dark psychedelic trip that leaves you hungry for more. Lineas Albies is a Spanish (post)punk/rock band... maybe not everybody's cup of tea... but the two Sixteens tracks are more then worthwhile to get this record... I promise!! 10", 4 tracks, crystal clear yellow vinyl, limited and numbered edition of 500 copies Price: 10 eurhttp://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8ZOxoVi-2SAo |
![]() Eklin - Onwa (Lowin) Debut album by Eklin from Holland. Simply a super trip through ambient structures, pop sentiments, lo-fi noises and psychedelic moments. A sparkling debut album that makes me very curious for the future! listen + listen + listen cd, 10 tracks Price: 15 euro (only 1 copy left) |
![]() Eklin - Lydl Tellet (Lowin) The exicting debut EP by Dutch indie/shoegaze/psychedelic/lo-fi band Eklin. This 4 track EP cd is released on the band's own label Lowin. Musically you get some experimental ambient like tracks and two more indie/lo-fi/psychedelic pop tracks. Really a band to keep an eye on! Also check their debut album (see above). listen + listen cd, 4 tracks Price: 8 euro (only 4 copies left) |
![]() Bronze - The Rouge Became / Wits picturedisc 7" (World Famous in SF) After a 10" and the sold out 7"on Enfant Terrible here is a warm up for a forthcoming album. A perfect blending of minimal electronics and psychedelics... touches of 80's music and 70's and 60's stuff... all in the mix and resulting in the unique sound of the band. Two excellent tracks for dancing, tripping and day dreaming... listen 7", 2 tracks, picture disc, limited edition of 500 copies Price: 10 euro |
![]() Frustration - Midlife Crisis 7" (Born Bad Records) New single with two new tracks by your favorite French rebel punks. While the A side is pretty punk... even for Frustration standards the B side is in the best tradition of Screamers but mixed with that special Frustration mix of punk / oi / synth punk / whatever... a hit for sure on the dancefloors! 7", 2 tracks Price: 8 euro |
![]() Cheveu - Cheveau (Permanent Records) You maybe know Cheveu from the Hex compilation / night or from the previous LP we sold in this webshop. Here is another LP filled with great post-punk tracks played in an open minded way... somethig like free-punk would be a fitting style definition for this French band. Truly excellent and original. There is no other band that sounds this way... For fans of The Dreams, Frustration or some of the other great punk bands around in France today... lp, 14 tracks Price: 12,50 euro (only 2 copies left) |
![]() Lushus - Barefoot (Katzwijm Records) Lushus is a Dutch art punk band with a playful sound. This
is their second album. The band plays punk music as it should sound... fresh and in an open
minded way.
You will hear some indie pop echoes and Neue Deutsche Welle influences throughout the record. Lushus is for sure a band with a sound and style of their own and 'Barefoot' shows a re very mature band. In the tradition of bands like De Kift, The Ex but as said also many NDW elements pop up. Exciting new sounds from Holland! listen + listen + listen + listen cd, 12 tracks Price: 10 euro |
![]() Killerlady - Minneapolis / Fashion Pig (Beau Travail) Killerlady is the solo project by the singer of legendary 80's act EA80. So it is no suprise to find some real authentic post-punk and Neue Deutsche Welle influences on this record. Also suitbale for fans of no wave and contemporary post-punk/no wave bands like Blank Dogs, The Feeling Of Love and even maybe Woods... Excellent! listen + listen 7", 2 tracks, insert, limited edition of 300 copies Price: 8 euro (only 2 copies left) |
![]() Others In Conversation - Two Instrumentals (The All-Clear) After the collaboration with Television Set is this the debut 7" by this guitar act. You get two excellent instrumental pieces. One rather pounding neo wave track and another piece which seems inspired by The Jesus And The Marychain... Psychocandy period... so what can be wrong with that!?! Recommended to fans of classic wave sounds! listen + listen 7", 2 tracks, limited edition of 200 handnumbered copies Price: 8 euro (only 2 copies left) |
![]() Krysmopompas - Gesa / Volker 7" (Avant! Records) After the nice 2lp with tracks from self released cd-r's here is a new 7" with two new tracks. These new tracks are a bit more electronic and brings the sound quite close to stuff like Punk Soul Loving Bill. If you like Neue Deutsche Welle / Neo Deutsche Welle you will not be disappointed by this nice little record. Two great playful tracks! 7", 2 tracks Price: 7,50 euro (only 3 copies left) |
![]() Peter Quistgard - Peter Quistgard (Toztizok Zoundz) Peter Quistgard from Holland did a great performance at the Enfant Terrible night 2009. His muzak is produced by electronic toy instruments that are often prepared... so they produce more noise. The style of Peter Quistgard is that of a messed up mix of elektro and gabber. Maybe think of Kania Tieffer but more dirty and messy... then you get the idea...a bit... Excellent debut 7" anyway here on an obscure Dutch label. For people with an open mind and taste! listen + listen 7", 2 tracks, clear green vinyl, handmade sleeves, limited edition of 300 copies Price: 6,50 euro (only 1 copy left) |

Mt. Sims - Happily Ever After (Hungry Eye Records) After the new 12" on Hungry Eye (we recently had to re-order this one, so back in stock now) this is the new full lengt album by Mt. Sims. Like the 12" much more in the post-punk tradition as in the electro style of his early work. Spooky sounds and moody synths make up for some fierce contemporary post-punk songs with that obvious but nice 80's feeling... cd, 12
tracks |
|
Red Voice Choir - A Thousand Reflections (Atakra Productions) Great debut EP by Red Voice Choir. This is a project by members of the celebrated acts Black Ice, The Holy Kiss and Death Of A Party. The sound is moody and intense indie rock, moving far away from the deathrock/batcave roots of the musicians and into new territory. Superb indie rock by highly skilled musicians. Hopefully this is not the last they will release... cd, 6

Division S - Something To Drink (Old Europa Cafe) After some cd-r releases on Bunkier this is the first release of Division S on Old Europa Cafe. Division S is one of the few post-industrial acts that get a lot of airplay at Enfant Terrible HQ. The decadent cabaret music and weird folk pop is perfect for playing in the evening while enjoying some red wine. The act has a sound of its own and is recommended to people who like Novy Svet, Wermut and maybe Dernière Volonté. listen + listen + listen + listen cd, 17
tracks, cd comes in wooden case, limited edition of 400 numbered copies

The Weegs - The Million Sounds Of Black (Hungry Eye Records) Second album by US band The Weegs. Possibly a little bit weirder as their debut album but also more daring and genre defying. The Weegs serve you open minded and truly artistic free now wave and post-punch music. Freak beat for psyched out people... lp, 8
tracks, extra cd with a 40 minute track, limited to 600 copies |
