![]() !NEW IN CATALOGUE! Lushus - Barefoot (Katzwijm Records) Lushus is a Dutch art punk band with a playful sound. This
is their second album. The band plays punk music as it should sound... fresh and in an open
minded way.
You will hear some indie pop echoes and Neue Deutsche Welle influences throughout the record. Lushus is for sure a band with a sound and style of their own and 'Barefoot' shows a re very mature band. In the tradition of bands like De Kift, The Ex but as said also many NDW elements pop up. Exciting new sounds from Holland! listen + listen + listen + listen lp, 12 tracks, insert, limited to 500 copies. Price: 14 euro cd, 12 tracks Price: 10 euro |
![]() !NEW IN CATALOGUE! Killerlady - Minneapolis / Fashion Pig (Beau Travail) Killerlady is the solo project by the singer of legendary 80's act EA80. So it is no suprise to find some real authentic post-punk and Neue Deutsche Welle influences on this record. Also suitbale for fans of no wave and contemporary post-punk/no wave bands like Blank Dogs, The Feeling Of Love and even maybe Woods... Excellent! listen + listen 7", 2 tracks, insert, limited edition of 300 copies Price: 8 euro |
![]() !NEW IN CATALOGUE! Logikparty - Good Hood / Iodine (White Plague Records) This is a great discovery... the first single by Logikparty from Ireland. Fierce post-punk/now wave like I did not hear since a long time. Intense as this type of music should sound. Making me very curious about what is to come next from this band! listen + listen 7", 2 tracks, insert, limited edition of 250 copies Price: 8 euro |
![]() Blessure Grave - Judged By 12, Carried By 6 (Release The Bats) The Release The Bats label from Sweden return to their roots with this excellent batcave/doom rock release. Blessure Grave from the USA fits in with the current neo wave / indie guitar scene around Black Ice and Swann Danger. If you like Joy Division, The Cure (Pornography LP ) and Death In June you will be pleased by this LP. But also later day / more poppy Jesus And Marychain can be heard from time to time. The music is twinkling and sparkling at times while the vocals are from beyond the grave for sure. A band and release to check out for sure! listen + listen lp, 12 tracks, limited to 525 copies Price: 14 euro (only 2 copies left) |
![]() Beequeen - Sandancing (Important Records) A new Beequeen. This time the music is more poppy then the previous release but still edgy. If you like the tranquil pieces and weird pop of Legendary Pink Dots you will love this too. This release is like an audio version of a fairy tale. Recommended!! listen + listen + listen cd, in carboard digisleeve, 10 tracks Price: 10 euro |
![]() The Tyrell Corporation - Together Alone (Clone) Alden Tyrell is known for his elektro and nu-disco music. This side project is much more new wave influenced. The A-side is a real hit with pounding elektro beats and a pumping new wave bass line. Eerie synth lines gives the music an even more 1980's feeling. Very much like New Order and some of the best Mount Sims did. On the B-side there is a real 1980's rock track that will appeal to fans of Siouxsie and Skeletal Family... even though it is a bit more rock. Also the other track is a typical 1980's new wave rock piece. This is very much in the 1980's style but also sounding fresh due to a great production. Tip! listen + listen 12", 3 tracks Price: 10 euro (only 3 copies left) |
![]() Low Red Center - Low Red Center (S-S Records) Low Red Center is more of a performance group then a strict band. Their music is what all good post-punk should be about: artistic freedom. You hear the authenticity of their music straight away. You could qualify this as minimal synth but none of the clichés are there. Also they sound more warm and lighter. Think about The Dreams mixed with the Kim Ki O and you are going the right way. Lovely debut 10" album!! listen + listen + listen 10", 8 tracks Price: 14 euro (only 1 copy left) |
![]() Accident Du Travail - Accident Du Travail (Bruit Direct Disques) Amazing record by Julie Normal (Cradle Of Smurf, Crash Normal) and Olivier 2mo (Cheveu). Unlike their more weird post-punk projects this record goes into a more contemporary classical music sort of style. Played on a specific kind of organ and on electronics you get hypnotizing and trance indulging music that at times is reminscent of Terry Riley ('A Rainbow In Curved Air') and sometimes a bit of Kosmische Scene (Klaus Schulze). Really something to check out!! listen + listen 12", 5 tracks, limited edition of 500 copies Price: 12 euro (only 4 copies left) |
![]() Others In Conversation - Two Instrumentals (The All-Clear) After the collaboration with Television Set is this the debut 7" by this guitar act. You get two excellent instrumental pieces. One rather pounding neo wave track and another piece which seems inspired by The Jesus And The Marychain... Psychocandy period... so what can be wrong with that!?! Recommended to fans of classic wave sounds! listen + listen 7", 2 tracks, limited edition of 200 handnumbered copies Price: 8 euro (only 3 copies left) |
![]() Krysmopompas - Gesa / Volker 7" (Avant! Records) After the nice 2lp with tracks from self released cd-r's here is a new 7" with two new tracks. These new tracks are a bit more electronic and brings the sound quite close to stuff like Punk Soul Loving Bill. If you like Neue Deutsche Welle / Neo Deutsche Welle you will not be disappointed by this nice little record. Two great playful tracks! 7", 2 tracks Price: 7,50 euro (only 3 copies left) |
![]() Peter Quistgard - Peter Quistgard (Toztizok Zoundz) Peter Quistgard from Holland did a great performance at the Enfant Terrible night 2009. His muzak is produced by electronic toy instruments that are often prepared... so they produce more noise. The style of Peter Quistgard is that of a messed up mix of elektro and gabber. Maybe think of Kania Tieffer but more dirty and messy... then you get the idea...a bit... Excellent debut 7" anyway here on an obscure Dutch label. For people with an open mind and taste! listen + listen 7", 2 tracks, clear green vinyl, handmade sleeves, limited edition of 300 copies Price: 6,50 euro (only 1 copy left) |
![]() Plastobeton - Plastobeton (SDZ Records) Absolute thrilling debut 7" by this French band. They prove it that all you need for great post-punk is a guitar, a rhythm and vocals. This is done in a sleazy and raw style as you might know from the ICK 7" released on ET. Plastobeton features a member of The Dreams and Scorpion Violente which will put out a split 7"on ET soon (expected july 2009). Excellent noisy synth punk / dada-punk stuff!! listen + listen 7", 4 tracks, limited edition Price: 8 euro (only 2 copies left) |

Mt. Sims - Happily Ever After (Hungry Eye Records) After the new 12" on Hungry Eye (we recently had to re-order this one, so back in stock now) this is the new full lengt album by Mt. Sims. Like the 12" much more in the post-punk tradition as in the electro style of his early work. Spooky sounds and moody synths make up for some fierce contemporary post-punk songs with that obvious but nice 80's feeling... cd, 12

Red Voice Choir - A Thousand Reflections (Atakra Productions) Great debut EP by Red Voice Choir. This is a project by members of the celebrated acts Black Ice, The Holy Kiss and Death Of A Party. The sound is moody and intense indie rock, moving far away from the deathrock/batcave roots of the musicians and into new territory. Superb indie rock by highly skilled musicians. Hopefully this is not the last they will release... cd, 6

Division S - Something To Drink (Old Europa Cafe) After some cd-r releases on Bunkier this is the first release of Division S on Old Europa Cafe. Division S is one of the few post-industrial acts that get a lot of airplay at Enfant Terrible HQ. The decadent cabaret music and weird folk pop is perfect for playing in the evening while enjoying some red wine. The act has a sound of its own and is recommended to people who like Novy Svet, Wermut and maybe Dernière Volonté. listen + listen + listen + listen cd, 17

The Weegs - The Million Sounds Of Black (Hungry Eye Records) Second album by US band The Weegs. Possibly a little bit weirder as their debut album but also more daring and genre defying. The Weegs serve you open minded and truly artistic free now wave and post-punch music. Freak beat for psyched out people... lp, 8
tracks, extra cd with a 40 minute track, limited to 600 copies |

The Weegs - Meat The Weegs (Hungry Eye Records) Debut album by US based no wave / post-punk band The Weegs. Here are some crazy and twisted sounds for people who like a band as The Residents but also The Phantom Limbs... this is DaDa punk music at its best. The Weegs are the most interesting and innovating post-punk band around at this moment. Check this out! cd, 11

Black Ice - Myopia (Hungry Eye Records) Black Ice is the most interesting contemporary deathrock / post-punk band. As no other band that emerged out of this scene they dare to move away from the clichés and follow a path of their own. On this new album the bands goes from powerful songs to dark cabaret to nightmarish soundscapes. A great achievement and highly recommended!! listen + listen + listen + listen + listen cd, 9

Sixteens - Fendi EP (Hungry Eye Records) Sixteens truly has an unique sound of their own as perfectly displayed on this 12" EP. Rooted in both the synth punk of Suicide as the arty batcave of early Christian Death, they serve you some of the most authentic contemporary post-punk . Their style is electronic, minimal, raw and powerful... (The sleeve for this record was done by Genesis P. Orridge.) 12", 4
