This Saturday (28th of April) it is Gifgrond time again… my most favourite location / party in Holland… Europ Europ needed to cancel unfortunately but Monocorpse will replace them to shake things up with his dark beats… next to that Soft As Snow will present their contemporary new wave / shoegaze music and Hexenschuss will bring their arty post-punk live to stage…
I will spin some records before, in between and after the bands… and if people like to dance maybe even to late…
I uploaded a short mix I did in between live acts at Gifgrond during the ET label night last November (2017). The first track sounds a bit weird… not sure what happened… but well… live is not perfect… this set features contemporary elektro-wave and EBM sounds by the likes of Sally Dige, Sarin and Ortrotasce…
Online now is the opening dj set I did at the last ET night at Gifgrond… it is mix filled with all kinds of elektro sounds… EBM influenced, post-punk kind of and also synth pop inspired… a bit like what I used to play at the Hex parties… artists include Le Syndicat Electronique, Bastards Of Love, Bakterielle Infektion, Thorofon, Ich Bin amongst others…

Last month the Enfant Terrible label night at Gifgrond was a blast. After the live performances by Staatseinde, TWINS and Garçon Taupe I finished the night with some tunes to dance to… it was a mix of elektro-wave, post-punk, new beat and more… you can listen to it below/on mixcloud…

This January we kicked off the year with a party at Gifgrond… and now we return to this awesome spot in Tilburg (NL) to sort of close the year…
The line-up features Staatseinde and Garçon Taupe… both Dutch projects that recently released records on Enfant Terrible… so I consider this a delayed release party for these acts…
Staatseinde will bring their elektro pop live in stage and Garçon Taupe will perform live his acid trax…
Next to that TWINS from the USA will kick off his first European tour that night… his latest album from last year (Rather Not, Enfant Terrible 2016) got great feedback due to the original blending of styles like elektro, EBM, new wave, post-punk and more… A new 7″ is planned for the first part of 2018… also on Enfant Terrible…
Throughout the night I will spin records… and hopefully there will be some dancers / clubbers to close to night with…
