dj M. – Lesson#72 (Gifgrond one more time…)

I uploaded a new dj set on my mixcloud page… this was my opening set at Gifgrond in January and was also transmitted as part of episode 72 of Radio Resistencia…

In this mix are many 80’s tunes… ranging from rough to melodic by the likes of Robert Turman, Dr. Numa, Dark Day and so on… but also a few more contemporary artists can be found here… some projects released on the great Musamore Editions label and our very own ET family member Neugeborene Nachtmusik for example…

So enjoy this mix of minimal elektro, post-industrial and synth tunes!

dj M at Gifgrond

A few weeks ago I had a great time at Gifgrond… the Gifgrond ladies invited me again to curate a night at their wonderful venue and event… here is a report in Dutch by VPRO 3voor12…

I already wrote a bit about lately… now I also posted my dj set online I did after the live acts for the dance part of the event… it is a dj set of about 2 hours with loads of 80’s and also some more contemporary stuff… think in the likes of elektro-wave, synth-pop, minimal electronics and so on… long time since I did a dj set with these tunes… years and years ago, mostly during the Hex nights way back… and also did I not play for the dance floor since some time… it was great fun and there was an enthusiastic audience which made it extra nice to play these songs… enjoy!

Roberto Auser live set for Radio Resistencia

During the last Radio Resistencia episode Roberto Auser performed live… and live means live… so all hardware and no laptops…

Also this live set was improvised with sounds related to the upcoming EP “Faceless Future” on Enfant Terrible… but no track performed live was one on one from this EP… Poured out over the listeners was pure analogue minimal electronics… just like the record is going to be…
