Out now and next up…

The new records by RADKO and Melting Dogmas/Roberto Auser are out now… and I am already working hard on the next releases… one will be a melancholy new wave inspired synth pop record… more on that soon…

Next to that I am preparing two releases on a new series/sublabel called Freedom Club. This will be a new entity in the Enfant Terrible universe… sounds dedicated to (post)rave music… sort of Gooiland Elektro minded but I guess rougher and more strict focussed on beats for (illegal) raves and/or intense workouts… First up will be one EP by Nihilist Sounds and an EP by Auva Duhr (a Neugeborene Nachtmusik project)…

Soon more on this… including a website/online homebase for this series/sublabel…

Various Artists – Reality As A Stage Set

I decided to do a digital (yes, digital!) release to bring some nice tunes to peoples homes … So this free digital and downloadable compilation was curated for this specific moment, during which COVID-19 goes around the world…

The compilation is called “Reality As A Stage Set”… it has a catalogue number and all and you can find it here…

I selected some (but not including all!) of my personal favourite tracks taken from vinyl records I released in the last few years on my labels… Several of the artists on this compilation have a bandcamp page where you can get the complete release the track featured here is taken from. Vrystaete: Lend Me Your Underbelly & Ô Paradis

Coming next from Enfant Terrible are two new records on Vrystaete… two releases I have been working on for a long time…

One of these releases will be by Lend Me Your Underbelly… this Dutch lo-fi ambient psychedelic drone musician recorded some pieces with a bulbul tarang… a string instrument also known as Indian Banjo… next to this he used an acoustic guitar, mandolin and subtle electronics to create some wonderful surrealistic dreamscapes…

Then there will be also a LP by Ô Paradis… the Barcelona based free-spirited folk pop musician is around for 20 years and released the same number of albums… almost all of the only available on CD format… Ô Paradis was on my wish list when I started Vrystaete… we tried to put together an album before in an earlier stage of Vrystaete… but now finally we decided to re-release a classic album which is both among the personal favourites of the musician and myself…

This year Enfant Terrible is running for 15 years… it is not that I want to put too much emphasis on this… the current state of things is what counts… but I have seen so many labels come and go these last 15 years… and I have been in contact with so many people… and only a few of those are still here… for various reasons… and it does not make a difference to me if I speak to these people every day, once a week or once a year… next to the records I realised with all the different musicians and all the memories of concerts, parties and meetings… in the end those few people still here are for a very big part what counts… I am quiet sure you know who you are…

And… after 15 years ET is still based on the same idealistic principles as when I started and as I have given shape to it in the manifest and activities… so expect only one thing… that I will take this furthur…

This week I am in Berlin again… on Thursday the 19th of April me and Andy Dufter and dj Alacidus from the ET / Radio Resistencia crew will spin some records… live on stage you can catch Europ Europ (special mini set) and Soft As Snow…

When the doors open Andy Dufter will play some experimental music. In between the live acts I will spin some industrial tunes and after the live shows me and Alacidus will play dark beats for people to drink and dance to…

All of this will be at ACUD Macht Neu… starting at 20.00 hour.
