Berlin – June, September & October

Together with åtåmåtån I have planned 3 nights at Urban Spree in Berlin. These nights are called Dark Beats ~ Cold Waves and will focus on just that… There will always be one live act from Enfant Terrible and one live act from åtåmåtån… and both me and the other label boss will play some tunes…

Musically expect everything fitting the dark beats and cold waves theme and the focus of åtåmåtån and Enfant Terrible… so synth stuff, elektro, EBM, minimal, new wave, post-punk and more…

Consider these nights “work in progress”… we will see how they go and evolve… if we like how they turn out we will continue with these in the future…

Upperberry

We recorded a guestmix for Berlin based Upperberry… this organisation is throwing parties and hosting a podcast series…

For this one we took it a little less loud and harsh as usually… but still this set is  filled with acid, dark techno and elektro… so you get served dark beats again…  as always we recorded this back 2 back without a fixed playlist… go the flow… this mix features amongst others Sololust, RTRA and Garçon Taupe… you can find the mix below or on the ET soundcloud page…

Attic 61 – one more time

The night at Attic 61 last September was great and I have made posts about it already… but now the aftermovie is ready (see below)… it brings back the good energy of the night… and for those not there… now you can get idea of what you missed out on…

Brokntoys

A new guestmix / podcast is online… this one we did for Brokntoys… a label from London… they also do a radio show and host a podcast series…

Our mix features a lot of Enfant Terrible stuff but also Aphex Twin and Polygon Window for example… It is an eclectic mix of electronics sounds… rather beat driven I guess… It is posted below… enjoy!

DUSK.

Just before summer kicked in we delivered a guest mix for Amsterdam based organisation DUSK. They host a podcast series and have plans for future live events. As always Alacidus and I did a back2back mix as Enfant Terrible… with vinyls only of course…

We did end up with a pretty heavy mix of dark techno, fierce acid, pounding EBM and harsh elektro…

Gifgrond – saturday 28th of April

This Saturday (28th of April) it is Gifgrond time again… my most favourite location / party in Holland… Europ Europ needed to cancel unfortunately but Monocorpse will replace them to shake things up with his dark beats… next to that Soft As Snow will present their contemporary new wave / shoegaze music and Hexenschuss will bring their arty post-punk live to stage…

I will spin some records before, in between and after the bands… and if people like to dance maybe even to late…
