Attic 61 – one more time

The night at Attic 61 last September was great and I have made posts about it already… but now the aftermovie is ready (see below)… it brings back the good energy of the night… and for those not there… now you can get idea of what you missed out on…

Brokntoys

A new guestmix / podcast is online… this one we did for Brokntoys… a label from London… they also do a radio show and host a podcast series…

Our mix features a lot of Enfant Terrible stuff but also Aphex Twin and Polygon Window for example… It is an eclectic mix of electronics sounds… rather beat driven I guess… It is posted below… enjoy!

ADEV 2018 after

ADEV 2018 was absolute great this weekend. Last year we already had a great time playing records there… possibly this year was maybe even  more intense. We played the closing set this year… so partly in the dark… and a longer set as last year…

After starting with a “relaxed” acid track we built it up and up and up to more and more extreme sounds and beats and tempos… The video above is almost at the end of our set… and shot from somewhere in the crowd.

A huge thank you to ADEV for having us again!

Attic 61

Next event we will be part of is Attic 61: Underground Art Fair. This event takes place at an old decompose physics laboratory below Mauritskade 61 in Amsterdam.

Entrance is free so there is no reason not to experience some performance art, spoken word, visual art and more… and the Enfant Terrible crew delivers live sets by Sololust, Garçon Taupe, Roberto Auser and Monocorpse. After the live performance the Enfant Terrible dj’s are present to spin some vinyls.

The doors open at 18h and the closing time is 01h… but maybe later…

The cool promo video below was done by Monocorpse.

Kalabalik

We are almost heading  our way to Sweden for the Kalabalik pa Tyrolen Festival. This is a yearly meeting for all things synth/wave/post-punk. Their focus is on contemporary music instead of the many festivals and parties out there who tend to pay more attention to bands from the past… so Kalabalik is really fitting the ET focus when it comes to that.

Also they have an open mind and attitude when it comes to these styles/genres… another thing we have in common. Through the years quite some artists who have appeared on ET performed already at Kalabalik… so I am really happy to head over there now myself for a label showcase with 6 live acts and me and Alacidus with our record bags…  and of course I am eagerly looking forward to experience this festival with all the other great live acts…
