Printing time again

Gooiland_Elektro_logo_whiteEven though the three new Gooiland Elektro releases by FOQL, Monocorpse and FFFC are delayed it does not mean we are not working on them… so we have started to print the sleeves, and this printing job will be finished next week…

As announced the looks of the Gooiland series have been revised and the sleeves are now hand printed by silk screen printing by myself with the help of the printing chief of Kapitaal

Below a first impression of the front and the backside of the sleeves (click to enlarge)…

Patience is a virtue

FOQL_GOOILAND20_webI am sorry to announce that the FOQL, FFFC and Monocorpse Gooiland Elektro releases which were planned to be released at the end of June are delayed till after summer… I expect now to be able to ship at the end of August…

But as you know patience is a virtue and the waiting will be worthwhile for sure… I will be printing the sleeves in the next weeks and will give an (visual) update about that here… and for now you can still listen to the full track previews on the Enfant Terrible soundcloud

So enjoy your summer and see you on the other side!

Gooiland Elektro MKII

Gooiland_Elektro_logo_whiteAfter almost 20 records in about 2 years time it is time to change the concept and the looks of Gooiland Elektro a bit… three new releases show the new direction… first of all the records by FOQL, Monocorpse and FFFC are released in a small edition of 150 copies only… as original intended when the label was conceived. Next to that the records will from now on come in sleeves which are hand printed by myself…

What stays the same is the focus on new and unknown artists and projects and sounds which are not released by other labels… so the sounds, but also the looks, will stay recognizable as being typical Gooiland Elektro and Enfant Terrible…

FOQL, Monocorpse and FFFC all deliver an EP filled with techno related sounds but all three are different in their ways to treat this music tradition… FOQL brings in some (spi)ritual sounds and structures and touches of Coil, The Future Sound Of London and even maybe Kobosil. Monocorpse on the other hand delivers some pounding raw, primitive and occult dark techno which will appeal to fans of Ancient Methods. FFFC will make you trip away on synth tapestries placed on top of techno and EBM rhythms…

Previews of sounds and artwork are available here…

Full track previews are available here…

The records are expected at the end of June… but you can pre-order these now here…

A week in images

Several things went on the past few days… so here is a short update on all of
that…

Last sunday Diamantener Oberhof performed live at Radio Resistencia… it was the first ever concert by this German Dada folklore duo… the session will be narrowcasted on Intergalactic FM on IFM1 on Monday 4th of May from 22.00 CET onwards… here is picture of their performance… DO_live_Kapitaal_april2015

Next to that the albums by Neugeborene Nachtmusik and Tobias Bernstrup were released… I am still in the middle of shipping them around… but they are starting to arrive at shops and private orders already… here is teaser/promo video for the release…

Embers did get great feedback on their mini album but had some personnel changes which prevented them to perform live the last couple of months… but they are back! They have two different live line-up’s now… one as a duo with the electronic sound as on the record and one with an additional live drummer and an acoustic oriented sound…. they did a try-out concert with this new line-up at my favourite Belgium record shop Wool-E-shop… see here and listen here how this looks and sounds…

And… even though the new records still have to shipped partly I am already busy with getting the next records to the pressing plant… one of these will be a 12″ by Dutch dark/occult techno project Monocorpse… here is a video of one of the tracks featured on this 12″…
