Various Artists – Reality As A Stage Set

I decided to do a digital  (yes, digital!) release to bring some nice tunes to peoples homes … So this free digital and downloadable compilation was curated for this specific moment, during which COVID-19 goes around the world…

The compilation is called “Reality As A Stage Set”… it has a catalogue number and all and you can find it here…

I selected some (but not including all!) of my personal favourite tracks taken from vinyl records I released in the last few years on my labels… Several of the artists on this compilation have a bandcamp page where you can get the complete release the track featured here is taken from. Please support these artists if you can…

If you look for the download go here…

Elitepop on demand

Since January I am back at Intergalactic FM with a new radioshow called Elitepop… expect anything fitting the post-punk and post-industrial tag… so expect post-everything…

After the transmission on the first Monday of the month (on the CBS channel) I will post all shows on the ET SoundCloud page… so you can listen to the music here…

Back on Intergalactic FM

As from today (Monday the 6th of January) I am back at Intergalactic FM with a new monthly radio show called: Elitepop. Always on the first Monday of the month (Black Monday) at 21.00 hour at the Cybernetic Broadcasting System (CBS) channel… One hour of music straight out of ET HQ…

What to expect? Well… basically what I played at the Radio Resistencia shows but maybe a bit more free-spirited… so anything from post-punk to post-industrial to post-everything… from beats to drones… from contemporary to pop… always with some darkness and moodiness and/or  weirdness and craziness in there… just what I am into at that moment… And no talking… just music!

So.. tune in & drop out… And… in case you missed out on the transmission I will post the shows afterwards on the ET Soundcloud

Out now + events for March

Out now are 4 new releases… among these the delayed Silver Age People (a project by Roberto Auser and myself)… next to that a new Vrystaete release by Dutch ambient duo interbellum… this one is almost sold out here at ET HQ… only 10 copies left… but the regular (web)shops have copies in stock now…

Also out now in the second album by Neugeborene Nachtmusik… a superb piece of post-indsutrial/post-techno… and last but not leat there is the debut by Leroy Se Meurt… delivering fierce elektro-punk which will appeal to fans of old school EBM and minimal electronics…

You can find full tracks of all these releases here…

This month there are quite some events coming up… all in Holland and one in Belgium…

15 March there is a small release party for the interbellum LP… they will perform live at that occassion.

Next to that there is an Enfant Terrible weekender at the end of March with R A D K O, Leroy Se Meurt and Celldöd live and some dj sets… see here for all dates and locations…

And… as we speak I am working on the next releases… among these will be the first one in a new series / on a new sublabel…

And… and… To kill time here is a guest mix and a small interview I did for The Brvtalist…

Artelettronica

Yet another guest mix/podcast is online since a few days. This one we did for the podcast series Artelettronica. Their focus is on more industrial minded sounds… so we took that as a starting point… expect rhythms, noises, screams and so on… anything dark and heavy and distorted but no techno… only real industrial music…

Ich Wollte, Ich Könnte

Recently almost the complete output of Ich Wollte, Ice Könnte (IWIK) re-appeared on cd… It has been silent around this Wermut side-project since years… One vinyl album and two 7″s were released in the past… and now there is a cd bringing together the album, the first 7″, one digital compilation track and two track released on a vinyl compilation… the only thing missing is the second 7″… but that is also the only record still available / for sale for normal prices… and also you get three unreleased tracks on this disc…

IWIK was created when Invasion Planète label ask Wermut for a collaboration for a compilation… IWIK unlike Wermut staid more to one sound… While Wermut went from post-industrial to minimal-elektro to krautrock IWIK was always rather synth driven… I somewhere read this being called “funeral wave” and it sort of is… all moody, tragic, minimalistic and subtle…

This cd comes in an edition of 200 copies… 180 copies as a regular digipack and 20 copies in a special box… so most likely this will soon be another cult release like the original vinyl records from 10 years ago this cd collects… better get it now or be sorry later…
